XL Battat Our Generation Gray Black Horse w Saddle- Kentucky Derby racing decor

Established in Montreal, Canada in 1968 by Isaac Battat, the Battat company remains family-run. Battat began designing and manufacturing their own toys in the 1980s. Some of the horses they produce start smaller - this is the larger line at 18.5” tabletop to top of his ear. They make varying heights in the line to pair up with various doll manufacturers, as far as I could, find this model is out of production.
This gent is as an Arabian, marked as so on his underside. Base color is black with a gray paint for highlights and on the hooves, and some white markings on his head and one white lower leg. I’m sure peeps with horse knowledge know, from what I’ve read, they are the oldest purebred in the world. Fascinating history.
For the horse collector, table décor for your next Derby party, cool shelf piece, or yup as a toy, too. He’s made form molded plastic with acrylic mane and tail. Comes with a saddle with metal stirrups, bridle and green boots [velcro on/off].

Condition: Very good, there are light scuffs and scrapes to the paint throughout for normal play and wear, see pics for examples. No major issues all around.
