    .  NEW! It WORKS.
    Please note original tarnish /“patina” on front and back.  This can be expected of a piece this age.  I did not
    polish.
    This was in my aunt’s estate.  Condition is NEW.  This item works.  I changed out the original batteries to verify that it works.   I have put in two new AAA Duracell batteries.   It is lit up in the photos and will be shipped with batteries.
    The light comes on when you open the compact.  It comes with the original black satin drawstring carry bag and the original instruction pamphlet.  Both are in NEW condition.
    This is a gorgeous piece of history to display or use.  This is an incredible find.
