Vintage Volupte Brass Necessaire / Compact / Cigarette Case

Description

This is a Vintage Volupté Brass Necessaire / Compact / Cigarette Case.

The solid brass case has beautiful, intricate designs of birds and foliage.  The case is 5 1/4" x 3" x 5/8".
Inside the necessaire has a nice variety of features:
compact section (empty) with original
Volupté logo powder puff
two sections (partially used) for rouge or blush
cigarette case
the cigarette case lid doubles as the mirror
rectangular section to hold a key, a pieces of currency, etc.
Condition
The intricate designs on the outside the case were originally decorated with enamel or paint, but as found, most of the enameling or paint is worn off as seen.
The inside is in very good condition.  It could benefit from a more detailed cleaning and polishing.  The outside latch and the three interior sprint loaded latches are all in excellent working condition.  The cutout of the cigarette case door is a bit difficult to raise with your fingernail.  However if it is actual used with cigarettes it should prove much easier to open.
