Vintage Sterling Silver Ladies Compact with Mirror

Description

This sterling silver compact belonged to my extremely glamourous aunt, who like all things stylish and fancy. In great condition, likely dating to the early 50s, this one features a retainer cover for the powder. All the mechanisms are in good working order; the mirror has silvered as shown. Very few scratches and no dents, this compact is in great condition.
It measures 2 3/4" x 2 3/4", just under 1/2" high and weighs in shy of 4 ounces / 113 grams.
