Vintage Powder Compact w/Beveled Mirror Ladies Women’s Makeup likely '30s-'40s

Vintage Ladies Powder Compact with Beveled Mirror it appears likely to be from the  '30s or '40s. Comes with its original Felt Sleeve.  Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class.
The COMPACT is a fine example of period elegance. Exterior is a combination of Polished and Satin Brass. Inside is also Brass. The Opener with its little handle, is made of heavy polished brass and works easily.  The hinge for the Compact Opener and the hinge for the Powder Compartment are in excellent condition.  Exterior condition is really nice.  Interior finish is also very nice, but with deep inspection you will notice some minor aging issues next the left edge by the hinge to the Powder Compartment (see picture). Then, look inside the Powder Compartment, its clean, but there is some discoloration of the metal.  The Compact is believed to be Made in USA because there is a Patent Number, but No identifying brand or manufactures name.
The Compact measures 3 3/8" Wide x 3" High x 5/8" deep. It has a heavy quality feel to it as it  weighs 5 1/2 Oz. or 1/3 of a pound.
