We are pleased to offer for your consideration a previously owned and gently used / displayed vintage HOLLY HOBBIE HAND-PAINTED FINE PORCELAIN HEART-SHAPED TRINKET BOX with LID, A MOTHER'S WAY, from the DESIGNER'S COLLECTION, 1979.  There is a sweet little girl sitting down on the lid holding her Raggedy Ann doll on her lap. She is dressed in a long old-fashioned white & green polka dot dress, pale yellow pinafore, tan shoes, and yellow bonnet.  Her doll is wearing a matching polka dot dress just like her "Mommy".  The lid is ivory with bunches of white & yellow daisies around the top edges The base of the box is ivory with pale yellow sides.  This box measures a
pproximately 4" high to the top of the girl's bonnet, 3 5/8" wide x 3 1/4" deep.  The bottom is marked on the underside but it is so faded / rubbed off that it is illegible.   We had an identical box which read on the bottom:  Designer's Collection  A Mother's Way  A HOLLY HOBBIE figurine trinket box of fine porcelain  (C) WWA, INC. MCMLXXIX  WWA, INC.  CLEVELAND, U.S.A. 44144  MADE IN THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA.  The top of this box is not marked.  Both pieces are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or damage noted.   We do not have the original box or any paperwork, so they are not included.
We DO NOT have the original ecru cardboard folded hang tag with this box, but the previous-mentioned box did have one which read:  A MOTHER'S WAY  This authentic Holly Hobbie figurine trinket box, made of fine hand-painted porcelain, is a cherished remembrance of mother.
