VINTAGE CAMBRIDGE GLASS CAPRICE CRYSTAL CLEAR #148 BONBON RELISH OR CANDY DISH
This piece was made by the Cambridge Glass Company, formerly of Cambridge, Ohio and is part of their “Caprice” pattern line.
This is a gorgeous piece of high quality hand-made and American made pressed elegant glass.
It has been factory ground and polished on the underside of the foot, a sure sign of a quality piece of glass.
It is made in a clear colored glass that Cambridge called “Crystal”.
This would make a great candy dish or accent piece.

Specifically, this is the Cambridge Glass Caprice Pattern # 148 4-1/2” 2 Handled Oval Bonbon.

According to this book this piece was produced by Cambridge Glass during the period from 1936 to 1945.

Age and Condition
The piece dates to circa 1936-1945.
It is in excellent mint original condition.
Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item.
There are no chips, flea bites, cracks, hairlines or repairs to the glass.
There are a few extremely light signs of use or wear to the underside of the foot that I would expect see on a piece of glass of this age.

Please keep in mind these photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will look 8-10 times larger in the photos than it really is.
Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece.
It will be either just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the right side of the photo.

About 6.25” (15.9 cm) long by about 4.625” (11.7 cm) wide and sits about 1.625” (4.1 cm) off the table.

About 6.75 ounces (194 grams).

I am required to charge 6.5% Ohio State Sales Tax on all purchases shipped to an address within the State of Ohio.

For auctions, if you do not send an instant payment through PayPal, I will send you an invoice within 24 hours of the end of the auction.
PayPal is my preferred method for receiving funds and payment is expected within 3 days of the completion of the auction.

Shipment will be via the USPS at no shipping cost to the buyer.

The USPS says 6-10 business days, but it can take longer.
International buyers are responsible for all customs fees, duties, import taxes or other related customs or import charges and all our out of pocket costs incurred in the shipment of packages internationally.
International shipment options will be via USPS First Class Mail (when the item being shipped meets the requirements of that service) or Priority Mail when it does not.
DO NOT ask us to show a lesser value on the Customs Forms than the item sold for, or to ship the item purchased item as a gift.

RETURN POLICY
If for some reason you are unhappy with the item you purchased and would like to return it please contact me withing 14 days to discuss the details.
