Vintage 89 Star Design Poker Chip Set in Marbleized Circular Rack

This is a Vintage Art Deco 89 Poker Chip Set in a Marbleized Circular Rack.
At the time of the original listing, this was one of six listings for poker chips, chip sets, and racks, all purchased from a long time collector who was downsizing and selling some of his collection.  Additionally we have a number of other poker chip listings including other sets with racks in our ebay store.
The chips are an older plastic.  They have a star motif in the centers as seen.  The chips are 1 1/2" in diameter.  Each weighs just over 5 grams (you can see a stack of ten our jewelry scale).
The rack appears to have originally been designed for 100 chips (50 white, and 25 each in red and blue).  As found there only 89.  There are 26 blue, so that may indicate that the chips may be a subset of a larger set and thus not original to the rack; I do not know for sure.
The number of chips present of each color are:
Cream / White 39
Blue 26
Red 24
The rack is probably an older marbleized plastic.  I did not get a positive test for semi-chrome.  I thought I detected a bit of smell from rubbing but I think the result was inconclusive at best.  I opted not to try a hot water test with this larger size item.  This was the case on a couple of the other sets as well.  I am pricing and selling the set under the assumption that it is an older plastic and not Bakelite.
The rack has a well across the back for a card deck with two semi-circular wells to allow you grip and remove the cards with two fingers.   If you are looking at the rack when the companion listing was still available and / or viewable, you will see that the other rack much more contrast in the marbleized colors than this one.  This rack has a darker overall appearance and the marbleized effect, seen with the photo flash, is not nearly as apparent in ambient room light.
Condition
Chips
There is a significant variation in the color on many of the white / cream chips, as you can see from a closeup photo of an example of two white chips with the most variation in appearance.  Most of the blues and reds are pretty uniform in color.
Rack
The rack is in excellent condition.  The knob on top is free to spin, so that you can hold the rack up with one hand and rotate it with the other (i.e. it does not revolved like a lazy susan.
