VINTAGE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA BACKPACK 1307
INCLUDES MESS KIT
* CANVAS WITH ALUMINUM FRAME *
Up for your consideration: Original owner selling the backpack used for camping as a Boy Scout in the late 1960s. Featherlite Frontier frame dimensions  approx 23"h x 13.5" w. Canvas pack depth @ 8" (unfilled)
Backpack is fully functional, with a structurally sound frame and operational zippers and snaps. Canvas reflects the fact that this is a vintage item which was used for camping often, with general soiling and stains. Small pinhole on front pocket near zipper. Wear on leather straps consistent with age. Evidence of fraying on interior seams and cotton cinch-cord. Noticeable rust on non-aluminum parts.
Official BSA mess kit is included in this auction, as shown in pics.

Unless there is a need for a specific shipper,  the most cost-effective option will be selected from USPS, FEDEX or UPS.
Priority shipping rates to the mid-west and west coast can be expensive. In order to avoid sticker shock, if you need expedited shipping please contact me for a quote before purchasing.
Shipping charges are posted transit rates, plus a small handling fee.

Your purchase is carefully packaged, making use of recycled materials to keep costs down and for environmental reasons. I also personally drop off your package at the shipping center to make sure that it is safely in transit. Delivery confirmation is included in the shipping charge.
Once your package is in transit tracking information will be uploaded. I also follow the transit route of your package and will provide status updates regarding expected
delivery when that information becomes available.
Please refer to the ship date (from time of payment) in rating shipping performance as opposed to total transit time.
