VINTAGE 1940s SIGNED COTY BRASS COMPACT POWDER MIRROR SENIORS TECH HIGH
Up for auction is this spectacular vintage 1940s compact from Coty.  This brass compact has a very tight diamond pattern on the outside.  The front has a hinged cover flap with an overlap closure.  Under this cover flap the brass is highly polished and inscribed "TO RANDY From 1948 Seniors Tech High".  Fully open this compact to find a full sized cosmetic mirror on one side and a powder compartment on the other.  The powder compartment opens with the press of a button.  This compact still has powder in it but no application pad.  The powder lid has a small metal clip that cold be used to hold an eye liner pen or pad.  As the pictures demonstrate this compact is in excellent vintage condition with only normal signs of age.
