    Description

This is a brass Rexcraft official BSA bugle with original green felt bag and original mouthpiece and chain.
I purchased it in 1946 when I was a young Scout and had it professionally lacquered to preserve the brass shine.
Engraving:   "REXCRAFT OFFICIAL BUGLE / BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA" with First Class Emblem.
    Tuning slide moves freely.
    All solder joints are tight.
The lacquer is showing some pitting from age.
There is a slight bend on the edge of the bell, no dents.
The felt bag has a 1" tear at the top opening.
It is in overall very good, clean condition for a 75 year old bugle and has been stored in a climate controlled, smoke free environment.  It would be great as a playing instrument or as a collector's item.
