Ready for the construction site?
TAMIYA presents the first dump truck in the Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3348 version! The trough consists of a stable ABS part and has a movable and automatically unlocking tailgate. The payload is max. 10 kg and the trough can be tipped by radio via the optionally available ACU-01 spindle drive unit.
The unmistakable design of the new Arocs is as extraordinary as the truck as a whole. For example, a radiator grille in the so-called excavator tooth look was installed in the look specially developed for construction vehicles, which conveys the message:
"Bite through and grab" is intended to convey. Matching the robust appearance, special protective grilles for the lighting system are attached to the bumper.
With the 576 mm long and around 3.5 kg heavy kit model, impressive teams can be put together. The proven and robust TAMIYA truck technology can be found under the driver's cab, which can be tilted forward. A new Mighty-Tuned 35T electric motor sends its power to the two rear axles via a switchable 3-speed gearbox. A detailed aluminum ladder frame gives the model the necessary stability and flexibility.
A special additional frame was installed for the trough, which makes the model particularly stable.
A hitch (e.g. Carson 500907182) can be attached to the rear part of the frame and used to pull trailers.
The highlights are the pre-painted body parts:
- Italian Red (TS-8) cab, H, K and M parts
- Aluminum color (TS-17) dump body and CC parts
With the optionally available multifunction unit, almost all sound and light functions of the prototype can be simulated in a deceptively real way.

- Min. 4-channel remote control - recommended Carson Reflex Stick 500501006 (6-channel), 500501003
