Rare Vintage Wells Dual Commercial Waffle Maker 1940-50's
Wells counter-top commercial dual/2 Waffle maker.
This is an older commercial Wells model, my guess is comes from the 1940's maybe earlier. It came from the Henry Thiele Restaurant. Henry Thiele, a German-born chef, opened the restaurant in 1932. The restaurant was sold in 1990. It was an iconic restaurant here in Portland.
Unit powers up. Both irons heat up. Light on the right side doesn't work. Could use a check by electrician, as the wiring is original. Definitely could use a cleaning. Newer models from Wells cost around 00 & up. I've included a lunch/dinner menu image just for fun to show how much prices have changed due to inflation.
Any defects not mentioned but visible in the photo will be considered as described.
