For a lucky winner, a 1940's vintage Coty New York Compact.  Rare and hard to find.  Circa 1941.
A lovely example of the early 1940's  compacts.  Vintage Coty gold-tone Wishbone and Star compact.
Coty patented this compact design in 1941.  We've included many pictures.
It measures 4" X 2-1/2".
This piece is in good vintage condition --
NOTE that
the only defect
being the mirror which is wavy and silvering
due to age.
Both puffs are present.  Rouge may have been used sparingly since it looks full.  The powder compartment is full of a light translucent loose powder.   Coty's powders were the best in the business in my humble opinion -- so light and airy and never caked.
If in perfect condition this compact goes for nearly .00.  The actual Current Market Value is 0-5.   Incredibly we've seen this listed for .00 without any makeup or puffs inside.
Beautiful and hard to find addition to your vintage compact collection.  Don't let it slip away.
