    Description

    Leica M2 Black Paint Top Plate
    Based on serial number, this top plate belonged to a 1962 M2 black paint batch of 200 units.
    This top plate has plenty of patina, wear, and dents. At some point some of the dents were filled with filler (near the lugs) and then spray painted over the original black paint. Later the spray paint was removed with acetone and now the top plate shows the remnants of its original factory black paint. Fitment to housing is perfect.
