Gold tone metal/enamel vintage compact... affectionately called The Girl from...

Ipanema, of course.
For your consideration is an enameled and gold tone vintage compact from the 1940's.  The piece is very rich in storytelling and reminds me of the song noted in the description.  Notice her expression as she reels in the big catch of the day.  The fish is in 3D relief and very detailed.
Condition:
Good pre-owned condition.  Please note: enamel is unstable in various places on the compact along with crazing throughout.  There is enamel loss to her hat and shorts per the photos.  The compact does not have a mirror.
