Geo Schrade Boy Scouts Leather Case Folding Knife Fork and USN Spoon - 1942 1926Here is a vintage Boys Scouts utensil set in a leather case that includes a folding knife, folding fork and a spoon.
Knife - Stainless steel blade with bottle opener is marked Geo. Schrade - Pat. 1-27-42 - B'Port., Conn. Blade folds into a "wire" frame. Blade is in very good condition. The frame was originally painted red and shows light wear and a bit of rust. See photos.
Fork - Metal (not stainless) marked Geo. Schrade - Pat. 9-21-26 - B'Port . Conn. Fork folds into a "wire" frame. The fork has light wear. The frame was originally painted red. The paint shows a lot of wear and the frame shows a bit of rust. See photos.
Spoon - Not Schrade. May have been silver plated, but silver is mostly worn off. Back is marked with a crown and USN.
Leather case - Marked with Boy Scouts of America National Council New York City and the Be Prepared emblem. Also has handwritten Japanese writing on the back. Front had label that was removed and says Kada. Can be worn on a belt. Good condition with light wear and a tear on the back. See photos.
