opera glass and case, mid to late 1800s
1. glasses in very good condition
2. case shows wear light wear
3. case has carry handle, brass latch works well
4. binoculars are covered with mother of pearl
5. all the shell is in very good condition
6. everything you see that is white is shell. including eye pieces
7. screw adjuster works well, binoculars move in and out well
8. eye pieces are MOP and marked with La Belle, Paris
9. I have not cleaned these, a little dusty, right out of estate attic
approximate measurements
1. binoculars, 4 in. across front
2. each glass 1 in. across
3. length 2.25, not opened, opens to 3 in.
