    Description

    Costa Rica, 2c J. M. Fernandez, with American Bank Note Co. red "SPECIMEN" overprint (small size, about 14mm) and the usual small punched hole cancel, from the American Bank Note Co. archives dispersal sale in 1990. There is a light pencil mark on the gum of "JUN  17" which I believe is the date of the printing. (Scott no. 70). The stamp is o.g. NH.
