Cambridge Caprice Torte Tray Hampton (Flanders Poppy) 22 Karat Gold Decoration by Silver City 50th Anniversary Excellent
The Silver City Glass Company was primarily a glass decorating company rather than a manufacturer of glass. The design with poppies was one of their most popular designs. The pattern is known as Hampton in gold and Flanders when done in silver. The platter still has the original Silver City label. Cambridge made Caprice from the 1940's until the factory closed in 1957.
The tray is approximately 14 wide.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or other damage. The gold decoration shows little or no wear.
