Four-wire intercom systems require one cable for intercom

two chan
nels of four-wire intercom to the base station.
This interfacing
is done through the intercom A and B RJ-45 type jacks on the rear
of the unit.
The send(Tx) and the receive(Rx) is  connected to the intercoms 4-wire input via an RJ45 connector
for interfacing with RTS Matrix and modern digital matrix intercom system.
A 4-wire interface cable separates the INPUT and OUTPUT part of the wired party line
between male and female XLR connectors.
