RIPLEY & GOWAN CO. (R & G CO.) ENAMEL COMPACT.
SIZE: 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" X 1/2" deep, rigid handle 1"x 1", approx.
CONDITION: Very good.
DESCRIPTION: RIPLEY & GOWAN
(R & G CO.) GUILLOCHE ENAMEL DOUBLE SIDED COMPACT WITH RIGID HANDLE.
Lavender guilloche enamel compact with hand painted roses and "forget me not" flowers on front. Rigid handle with multi color blue, and black enamel design. Interior marked R & G CO. on edge of mirror. Patent pending mark on powder sifter side of compact. Interior in very good condition, rouge pot is full, mirror is good, power sifter turns, has both powder and rouge puffs. Lid of rouge pot has lovely snowflake design embossed in metal top. Exterior metal of compact could possibly  be polished, shows tarnish. Back enamel has 2 tiny pin dots from manufacturing, not damage.
